Greenville’s first Piano Coloring Book. By Artist Elizabeth Kinney. The young visitors to The Children’s Museum painted Melony in February 2025 using a paint-by-numbers outline. Elizabeth Kinney then provided the finishing touches. Melony is painted in the theme of “Down by the Bay, Where the Watermelons Grow” song.

Artist David Gerhard @DavidGerhard gets a lift from his former Governor’s School students behind the piano he painted. Formerly located at Carolina Bauernhaus, this piano is currently seeking a new home! David’s art was inspired by great times with his three children spent on farms out west.

Painted by artist Crosby Jack @Crosby_Jack, whose art style is best described as “Street Meets Monet!” Not only is he a gifted artist, but he’s a gardening genius, a former cheesemaker, an entrepreneur, and one of the kindest folks you’ll ever meet. His art can often be found hanging in Bar Margaret in West Greenville. His inspiration for Howard was his own amazing garden, plus the small town of Zalipie, Poland, where he and his wife visited. Traditionally, the women of Zalipie, Poland, would paint their houses anew every year to look like colorful fields of wildflowers!

Einstein’s expression changes when you lift the lid!!! Painted by Erika DeRoberts of Cherry Lane Art.

Artist Courtney Lewis gives us a peek at her work-in-progress, Chuckles the Piano, which she painted at its host location: The Artistry Gallery. Courtney endured our growing pains as she was one of the first artists to join our program, and she was an absolute delight.

Pebbles’ artists were the Class of 2026 Brandon Fellows of GCCA: Tripp Brown, Adelle Pruitt, Jackson Herren, Nicole Salazar, and Bella Bishara (L. to R.)

Artist Dumah Morgan, who paints live music scenes as well as fine art, included the Marvin King Revue members on Weaver the Piano. The group then played at Weaver’s unveiling!
