Welcome to Please Play Me Pianos, a small nonprofit organization dedicated to placing beautifully painted pianos around Greenville, South Carolina. The pianos—after being painted by local artists/groups—will be available for the public to play and free to the places that host them!
Why do we exist? Because a Please Play Me Piano may be a child’s first exposure to a real piano, or an adult might find a renewed interest in a forgotten passion. Perhaps strangers will stop and share a smile over an old tune, or a young adult who has left their childhood piano behind will pick up where they left off.
As we begin this venture, we’re seeking artists, piano tuners, piano caretakers, fundraising enthusiasts, and host locations! We’re looking for upbeat people who share our vision of adding joy, music, and surprise to the lives of those who come across one of our pianos.
