Artist Dumah Morgan unveiled WEAVER the Piano on Thursday, August 14, at 5:30 p.m. It all happened at Judson Mill Annex, with performances by Pianist Aaron Bowen and the inimitable MARVIN KING REVUE! Food and drink were available from Magnetic South Brewery and Mill City Kitchen. Weaver, who celebrates the history and evolution of Judson Mill, now resides in the hallway between Magnetic South and Mill City Kitchen. Go give him a tickle!
Lotus the Piano will replace Howard the Piano at Swamp Rabbit Cafe on August 27. Lotus was painted by 8 talented artists working together under the theme of Enlightenment. Definitely come check out this vibrant, unique piano—and don’t forget to tag us if you play!
Artist Erika DeRoberts of Cherry Lane Art unveiled Hetty the Piano in Fountain Inn on Friday, August 1, at 7:30 p.m., during the intermission of the Commerce Park Concert. After the unveiling, we moved Hetty to her new home in the beautiful breezeway outside Steam Coffee & Cream (113 S. Main St., Fountain Inn)! Erika has transformed Hetty into a cozy version of Aunt Het’s cottage–guaranteed to warm your heart and invite you to play! From cherry pie and granny squares to cattitude and rocking chairs, Hetty has it all!
