FLASH UPDATE: We have been asked by Ivey Square Property Management to remove our Dapper Dog Public Piano at 200 N. Main St., in Greenville. We’ve loved seeing thousands of you play it over the past two years, and we’re currently seeking a new host for that piano and for our former GSP Airport piano.
Why do we exist? Because one of our pianos may be a child’s first exposure to a real piano, or an adult might find a renewed interest in a forgotten passion. Perhaps strangers will share a smile over an old tune, or a young adult who has left their childhood piano behind will pick up where they left off.
We have 12 pianos in place and 2 pianos in search of new hosts. If you’d like to volunteer, we need piano caretakers (a 10-minute commitment once a week, plus travel time to your piano), fundraising enthusiasts, and social media assistance! We love working with upbeat people who share our vision of adding joy, music, and art to their community. If that’s you, please use the CONTACT US button and send us a note.
